About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Join Suzanne Hamilton-formerly of Edinburgh College of Art-to look at the historical context of visual and concrete poetry with items from the Scottish Poetry Library collection including examples associated with the realm of 20th century word and image. We will consider a range of subjects that include Typewriter Art and Concrete Poetry with a selection of rare artist’s publications and artworks by luminaries such as Eugen Gomringer, Edwin Morgan and Ian Hamilton Findlay.

This will be an intimate, workshop style talk and handling session and, as such, tickets are limited.
