The seminars are hosted by The Centre for Understanding Personality (CUSP), TFP-UK and Penn State Laboratory for Personality, Psychopathology and Psychotherapy Research. CUSP is the research and training unit of DeanCross:  (RCPsychiatry team of the year), ELFT NHS  Trust.

What are the aims and objectivecs of the seminars?

To describe the practical application of TFP in clinical work with narcissistic patients. To help clinicians to work with these patients through learning the most clinically relevant theoretical, strategic, tactical and technical approaches to treating narcissism.

How will you structure the seminars?

Accepted Answer

Each seminar is an independent module, however there is a coherence in attending the series.
Each seminar is divided into 2 sections of equal length: a lecture and then a simulated clinical interaction followed by a debrief.

How will it help me in my daily practice?

Our lectures will be practically orientated. The seminars will include real-time demonstration of an unscripted simulation of a patient-clinician interaction with debriefs from the perspective of each part of that dyad.
