Aim:

To provide opportunity for dentists to seek advice and discuss cases from their own practices in small groups

Learning Outcomes:

Be able to improve treatment planning skills

Increase understanding of restorative principles through interactive discussion

Be able to be more confident in managing more challenging cases under specialist direction

CPD: 2hours verifiable

GDC Outcomes: ABCD

Requirements:

1) Must bring relevant Photos, Radiographs and study casts (Preferably mounted)

2) Present patient cases for discussion using PowerPoint (Preferable but not essential)

3) Exclusively open to Dentists who regularly refer to the Dental Rooms, 1 Ridgway, London SW19 4RS

5) Non-referring Dentists are welcome to attend at a charge of £50.

1) Dr Morteza Mazinanian: Specialist Prosthodontist

• Graduated with honours from University College London and Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry (BSc and BDS).

• Completed specialist training in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics with distinction at UCL, Eastman Dental Institute(MClindent).

· Clinical interests included fixed & removal prosthodontics, tooth wear, implants and aesthetic dentistry

• Senior Teaching Fellow at Eastman Dental Institute, UCL.

• Treasurer and council member of The British Society of Restorative Dentistry (BSRD).

2) Dr Azadeh Kiani: Specialist Periodontist

DDS, PhD (UCL), MClinDent (UCL), EFP, MPerio(RCSEd)

PhD in Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials at world renowned University College London (UCL), in 2007

Master of clinical dentistry (MClinDent) in Periodontology and implant dentistry at prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, in 2017.

Certificate in Periodontology from the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), in 2017

Membership in Periodontics (MPerio) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, in 2017
