Tree & Fungi Walk
Join an autumnal nature walk in the beautiful Ancient Oak Hill Wood.
Co-led by Emma & Rowan
We will be on the look out for fungi & Rowan will share some ID tips & tricks for getting to know them.
Emma will introduce you to the trees of the wood, noticing thier seeds, fruits & nuts, as they prepare for winter.
Please note:
The walk involves a moderate-steep ascent and descent, at a relaxed pace.
We wont be foraging or consuming fungi during the walk.
Meeting point
Timing:
Meeting time at 9:45 ready to leave at 10.
We will meet at the top of the steps on Brookside where there is a public footpath sign.
The walk will last 1.5-2 hours

What to bring
- Sturdy footwear
- Weather-appropriate clothing, including warm layers, hat, gloves etc.
- Waterproof jacket
- Water or a hot drink.

Emma holds an Outdoor First Aid Certificate and Enhanced DBS. She holds a Forest Therapy Student Certification with Nature & Therapy. She is a Lowland Leader qualified by Mountain Training.
