We'll take a walk round the pond and through the woods looking at a variety of different tree species discussing key tips for ID-ing them in different seasons. And we'll have tea and biscuits afterwards.

The event is free, with donations welcome on the day to support our work looking after the woodland.

Please wear sturdy footwear - the woodland can be very muddy in places.

The woods are opposite Oakbank Cottages (EH55 8PR). There is very limited parking for cars, but its easy to walk here about 1 1/2 miles from West Calder along the Shale trail.
