Help needed to plant a small number of trees on the seafront

Help needed to plant a small number of trees on the seafront. Local Tree Wardens, together with Ward Councillors Chris Cornell and Keith Bothwell will be joining in. Martin Thomas, Tree and Woodland Officer from Canterbury City Council will demonstrate how to plant trees, so no previous experience is needed.

Please bring your own spade and gloves.

This is a particularly exposed location. Reasonable access for those with reduced mobility.

Duration: around two hours (depending on the number of people volunteering)

Meeting Place: Swalecliffe seafront, next to the skate park ///jeeps.palace.clocks

Please dress for the weather! In the event of heavy rain or wind, this event may be cancelled so please check social media for updates.
