Tree planting with Moor Trees at Challacombe Farm

Help us to create new woodland on Dartmoor and South Devon. Join us for a day tree planting at Challacombe Farm. We will be helping to plant willow cuttings and trees in some wet parts of the site. Everything you need to know will be demonstrated and gloves and tools are provided. Come along and meet some likeminded people and have fun!

The site will be very wet!

You'll need to bring some wellies or waterproof boots, waterproofs, packed lunch and drinks. We will supply biscuits, cakes and hot drinks. We usually stop for lunch at around 1pm. Where to park and more detailled information about the site will be confirmed via email a few days before the event.

Please let us know if there is anything you think we should know, such as medical conditions etc. We will be planting outside for most of the day, so please bear that in mind.

Children are welcome but they must be supervised by an adult. There will be livestock on site, so unfortunately dogs aren't allowed on this planting site.
