Event description

Description

Trees are as important to our survival today as they have ever been. Today our interaction with them tends to be remote, yet they remain essential to our lives. In the past, our relationship was much closer. Trees were our intimate friends, which gave us many important resources.

Join Trailblazer Wildcraft as we look at the wealth of trees around Sutton Bank. Learn to identify and understand the resources we can still access and enjoy, rekindling our ancient relationship.

After a guided walk we will use what we have foraged to light a kelly kettle and make a pin needle tea. There will also be a fire by friction demonstration.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Sorry, no dogs. All children to be accompanied by an adult.

Booking essential. For more information call 01439 772738.
