Trench Brothers - Indian and Caribbean Soldiers in world War I.

A creative response to the untold stories of ethnic minority soldiers in the First World War.
This interactive exhibition takes you on a journey of discovery through the hidden history of soldiers from the Indian Army, British West Indies and black British soldiers.
See the events of World War I through the eyes of eight individual soldiers, highlighting key elements of their military life and experiences, allowing you to trace their journeys to the Western Front.

There are workshops linked to the exhibition running throughout August and for Heritage Open Days on 9th September.

Created by HMDT Music in partnership with Lancashire County Council Museums Service.

Normal museum admission charges apply. Local residents and children FREE. Adults £3.00, concessions £2.00.
