About the Film

A few years after his release from Everton, and the trauma that followed, Jonathan Cissé has tried to remodel himself as a football agent. He helps other players achieve their footballing dreams. However, he’s unsatisfied , believing his playing days aren't over. So he trains, he gets back to grass-roots, and finally gets a trial. Days after the trial, Jonathan is waiting for a call, a decision, an opportunity that will get him back on the path to success. He’s put his hope in this call, his foundation. But what happens if the call doesn’t go the way he thinks? What happens if he fails? Anyone can take hits, people take cracks to the jar - but sometimes, there is one crack that sends the jar into pieces.

This self-funded film, mainly shot in a few days, was made possible by a group of generous and talented people, who will be given their thanks on the night.
