About this event

This plan will prepare you perfectly for your First Triathlon. It doesn't matter if it is a pool based tri or an Open Water Triathlon we will adapt your plan to suit you. It is suitable for Novice, Sprint and Olympic or Standard Distances. Note: Ironman and Half-Ironman require a different plan (see other Fit Visual events).

Note, time and date of this event are flexible, your coach Rich will contact you directly to arrange the best time for you.

Most beginner triathletes will have come from one of the 3 disciplines; swimming, cycling or running and that means developing fitness and skill in the other two. It is therefore important that you focus your limited time in the best way depending on your prior experience. You may also have particular injuries or other constraints, which is why we recommend a personalised training plan.

Contents

  1. A initial video consultation with Rich Parker, an experienced coach. During your consultation I will review your experience, fitness and injury history. We will also discuss your training locations, equipment and time constraints.
  2. A training plan delivered within 72 hours of your consultation.
  3. Individual targets tailored to your ability.
  4. Technique drills across swimming, running and cycling with video demonstrations.
  5. Half-way progress review via zoom. During which we will review your attainment and adjust your plan accordingly.
