Trinity Alumni Business Network
On Thursday 23 February, you're invited to attend the second meeting of the Trinity Alumni Business Network.
What's the Trinity Alumni Business Network?
The aim of the network is to welcome back alumni, initiate networking, and share ideas and best practice. It's also a chance to keep in touch with friends, lecturers and the University. Our students are also invited to attend sessions to build contacts and network with members of our Alumni Community.
Refreshments and nibbles will be provided from 6:15pm
What's happening at the event?
The evening will be hosted by Senior Lecturer in Business Andy Gilliland, who will be introducing the evening and talking briefly about the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF). As well as a chance to catch up with each other and network with new contacts, attendees can showcase their business or company and are welcome to bring promotional literature along with them on the night.
You'll also hear from 2016 Business graduate Gareth Craven, who is Director of his own business Hire an Artist and already a very successful entrepreneur. Gareth had a ten-page chapter published in The Book of Amazing People, was accepted onto the world's largest free business accelerator, and made it in to the top 100 of Britain's biggest small business competition.
Gareth recently received a £50,000 investment in his business from former Apprentice contestant Raj Dhonota. He will talk about how his business started, how it has developed and future plans. He'll also be showcasing his new website that just launched following his recent investment. We are also lucky enough for Raj to be attending and saying a few words.
