International Student new to Glasgow? Welcome!!
Why not join us for a walk in the countryside?
Here are important details of the event:
We will meet at Partick Rail Station at 1pm. We will take the train to Milngavie and from there will walk in Mugdock Country Park. If the weather is good we will have a picnic (eat together outdoors). If it isn't - we will go inside for some coffee. Please wear shoes for walking and bring a rain jacket/waterproof coat. Please also bring your own lunch (perhaps in the style of your own country?) - enough for yourself (and maybe some to share with new friends!)
Train tickets can be bought at the station or using the Scot Rail App.
We'll be back in Partick before 6pm.

The event is hosted by local volunteers from West Glasgow New Church and is part of the International Welcome 2025, organised by Friends International Glasgow. It is a social event open to all international students in Glasgow. People of all faiths (and none) are welcome.
