£50 for one day, £70 for both.

DAY 1: The Dynamic Follower

AIM

To become a ‘Dynamic Follower’, one that every leader wants to dance with!

OBJECTIVES

To teach followers the techniques involved in delivering optimum performance.

To enable followers to recognise the ‘connection signals’ in their own body as well as those in
their leads’ so, they can become a more instinctive and intuitive dancer

To explore what other aspects of their dancing contributes to being ‘dynamic’ and having
presence on the dance floor

FEATURES

Followers will learn about ‘Body awareness’ through Posture, Tone, Energy and Direction. We will focus on exercises and movement that explains and practices how it all works and fits together. Followers will know basic ‘leading skills’ to help understand what their role is within the dancing relationship to make things work.

LEVEL

This is open to followers at all levels excluding absolute beginners as they need to have some basics in place. Guys who want to learn more about following are encouraged to attend.

DAY 2: Absolutely Fabulous (Ab Fab) Day

AIM

To be fabulously stylish and look and feel great whilst doing it

OBJECTIVES

To raise confidence levels and give permission to establish ‘ownership’ within the dance

To show how followers can practice and improve their skills on their own

To share ideas of how you can stand out from the crowd and be different within your pool

To give followers a toolkit of stylish variations.

FEATURES

Looking at making the most of what you have.. We will explore how we can practice body movement and exercises on our own in order to facilitate change and make improvement. We will do this through the swing out, core variations for follower’s feet and arms.
