HERO

In 1941 Ulric Cross, a young and ambitious man from Trinidad, left his island home to seek his fortune. He was a jurist, a diplomat and an elite RAF Pilot during WWII. He is recognized as the most decorated West Indian Pilot of WWII. Cross was called to the Legal Bar in London in 1949 and practiced law in Africa (Ghana, Cameroon, Tanzania, Dar es Salaam). His life dramatically changes when he joins the Pan-African movement which was sweeping the world in the 1950s and 1960s.
