I can provide pick up from anywhere around the Glasgow Area for an additional charge.

White Balance
Composition
Exposure Compensation
Shooting in Raw

Capturing Action shots
Photographing Birds in Flight.

Question 4

What equipment do I need?

A DSLR Camera or Mirrorless Camera. Any make or model is fine. 70-300mm is ideal. 300mm + is good for the Kingfishers and the otters

What do I need to wear?

Wear something warm as it can be quite cold sat in the hide for a period of time.

If there is time and appropriate for the group we can cover other things. However a private workshop may be of more benefit if there are a lot of additions you would like covered.

No - lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.

Is the cost of the hides included in the booking?

Yes the cost of the hide is included in the price of the booking.

Question 11

Am I guaranteed to see Osprey/Kingfisher/Otter?

Accepted Answer

No. It is wildlife and therefore nothing can be guaranteed. August is a great time to capture images of Ospreys as they are busy fishing frequently to feed their young. Otters and Kingfisher are reported daily from the hide - but again nothing is guaranteed.

Can I stay in the hide after my booking time or can I get in to the hide earlier?

No - unless you have booked either the workshop after or the workshop before.
