Description
#truLondon 9
#trulondon is back in town, this time with a revised format over one day. There will be no presentations, no PowerPoint, no name badges and plenty of conversation. Over the last 4 years there has been more than 150 #tru events around the world. We have learnt a few things along the way about how to host a great event, where the emphasis is on the conversation and sharing experiences, as well as thoughts on the future. We know that the best content happens when you get people together from lots of different backgrounds, centred on the people space. Thats anyone with a vested interest in recruiting, talent acquisition and talent attraction. It doesn't matter if you are from in house recruiting team, an agency, a technology supplier, an RPO, a job board or anyone else in the space, you have something to add. We have a global focus, past events have attracted track leaders from over 20 countries. Everyone is welcome who wants to contribute, and there will be no big vendor pitches disguised as a presentation, or vendor halls you have to visit. If you want to know what is happening at the forefront of talent acquisition and attraction then you have to attend, and there is only 100 places available, enough to have some great conversation, but not too many to get overcrowded.
The track streams this year will focus on:
> Candidate Experience - 6 tracks featuring Gerry Crispin, Elaine Orler, Leigh Carpenter and some
the finalists from this years candidate experience awards.
> Case studies - 6 case studies you can dig in to to understand the real life lessons from hiring companies around the world.
> The tech lab - where you can get up close and personal with the latest recruiting tech. If you are participating from a tech company you can book a 20 minute slot. The rules are simple, demos and questions but no pitching, and if you are from a start up, we are expecting a few VC;s.
> Open tracks - 6 tracks where you set the agenda for what you want to talk about. There is no need to stand on ceremony. Turn up and register your track topic. The participants will decide what they want to talk about by vote. It is simple democracy.
> The sourcing lab. 6 hands on tracks covering the latest techniques and tricks in on-line sourcing. This is always standing room only.
We will be announcing all the track leaders, topics and titles over the coming weeks. With pre-booked tickets there are only 45 tickets available, and the first 30 bought qualify for a discount. You wouldn't want to miss it!
