Trump's Nationalist Agenda and the Creation of New Forms of Resistance

Our guest speaker for this evening's lecture is Daniel Kryder (Brandeis University and British Library Eccles Fulbright Scholar).
Dan is a political scientist who chairs in the Department of Politics at Brandeis University near Boston. He teaches American political institutions, the presidency, social movements and qualitative research methods. President Franklin Roosevelt's management of wartime racial tensions is the subject of his book Divided Arsenal (Cambridge UP). He is currently completing a book about police and protesters in American history. While participating in the programs of the Eccles Centre for American Studies at the British Library, he is also researching the origins of ideas of political time embedded in the U.S. Constitution. He has taught or held fellowships at MIT, Johns Hopkins, Princeton, Harvard and Al-Quds University in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
