Trust Works Breakfast Conversations: Reinventing Recruitment & Retention
Overview
Bring your own breakfast and join our fun and informal discussion to gain valuable insights from the world of trust-based working practices.
Every session will have a theme, though we will hold this lightly and allow the conversation to flow where it takes us. The central question in all, though, is how coming from a place of trust, openness and empowerment, can help tackle some of the tricky problems in our organisations. And how this will contribute to improving team work, employee engagement, client service and efficient working.
The conversation will be led by Tania Eber and Paul Jansen, experienced organisational change facilitators with a substantial track record in the concepts of self-management, autonomy and empowerment, not least through their work at Buurtzorg Britain & Ireland.
Join us and participate in the discussion or simply listen in. You can send us your questions in advance, or ask them in person during the event.
Today's theme: Reinventing Recruitment & Retention for Today's Organisations
We live in an era where employees have been educated as never before. And we have a plethora of tools at our disposal to help with the drudgery of work, not least AI. Yet we still struggle to recruit and retain the kind of employees that we need. And employee engagement (at least in the UK) continues to be startingly low.
Clearly there is a disconnect here. Is it time to reinvent how we organise, lead and manage our companies? And by doing so, change the narrative around what employees can expect?
Join our conversation and share your story. What has been your experience: as employee or as leader?
