Trustee Roles and Responsibilities

This course will help you understand a trustee's legal role and what duties you will have to undertake.

We will take you through the rules on charity trustee remuneration and cover the common pitfalls you might face, e.g. conflicts of interest. We'll also look at some of the other specific duties that apply to trustees of Scottish charities.

All of this will come backed up with a handy resource pack which will be emailed to you. There will also be time to ask questions.

Who should attend?

Anyone thinking of becoming a trustee or existing trustees who want to develop their understanding of the role.

Please note that priority is given to people volunteering for organisations based in Edinburgh.
