About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

Trustees play a vital role in a charity but don't often get the opportunity to meet their peers, network and learn outside of their role.

We also know that as a volunteer role, the requirements from the position can often overwhelm and take far longer, particularly in the early stages, than anticipated.J

This event is designed for

  • Those considering becoming a trustee and want to know more.
  • Those who are in their first trustee role and would like some advice and support.
  • Those who are experienced trustees and would like to share their experiences and also learn new things.

This informal session (run in partnership with CWVA) will enable you to

  • Meet and network with trustees with a wide range of experience,
  • Find out more about the support and training that is available,
  • Join a discussion around key challenges that trustees face,
  • Be inspired by our trustee speakers.

The event is run in partnership with ourselves and CWVA
