Trustee Workshop and Networking.
Overview
Trustees play a vital role in a charity but don't often get the opportunity to meet their peers, network and learn outside of their role.
We also know that as a volunteer role, the requirements from the position can often overwhelm and take far longer, particularly in the early stages, than anticipated.
This event is designed for
- Those considering becoming a trustee and want to know more.
- Those who are in their first trustee role and would like some advice and support.
- Those who are experienced trustees and would like to share their experiences and also learn new things.
This informal session (run in partnership with CWVA) will enable you to
- Meet and network with trustees with a wide range of experience,
- Find out more about the support and training that is available,
- Join a discussion around key challenges that trustees face,
- Be inspired by our trustee speakers.
The event is run in partnership with ourselves and CWVA
