Trustees Training - Roles, Responsibilities & Managing Change
Whether you are a new trustee, have been a trustee for a while or just considering taking on a role, whether you sit on a formal board or more informal management committee (it doesn’t have to be a registered charity or formal organisation) this workshop will provide you with tools to help you be more effective in achieving your organisation’s aims and objectives for the good of your community.
You will learn about
- legal compliance and the latest legislative changes dependent on your legal entity
- best practice in your wider role and responsibility as a trustee
- techniques to help you manage change in the ever changing operating environment
The training will be provided by members of the KCVS team and trusted associates.
This course is offered free of charge to Knowsley based voluntary, community and faith organisations and social enterprises, subsidised by the charitable aims of KCVS as part of Trustees Week.
Organisations from outside Knowsley are very welcome to join (just sign up as normal here) but we ask that you consider making a contribution towards our costs based on your size, resources and the value of the training to your organisation at the end of the day. Contact KCVS 0151 489 1222 to find out more.
Refreshments will be provided during the day as well as a sandwich lunch.
