Trustees Training - Social Value in Knowsley and Impact Measurement
Measuring your social value and the impact your work has on service users and the wider community is important. Not only to help you report back to your existing and future stakeholders, funders and commissioners; it also helps you as a trustee understand the worth of your work, helps ensure that the organisation is staying on mission, it’s important in recruiting and retaining staff and volunteers and helps you and your fellow trustees plan for the future in an ever more complex world.
This KCVS workshop will not only give you some easy to use, practical tools to help you develop your own social value framework and impact measurement but will set it in the context of operating in Knowsley.
The training will be provided by Director of Policy and Social Growth, Racheal Jones, an acknowledged leading authority on social value and commissioning, who has worked with local authorities and the Cabinet Office to shape local and national Social Value policy.
This course is offered free of charge to Knowsley based voluntary, community and faith organisations and social enterprises, subsidised by the charitable aims of KCVS as part of Trustees Week.
Organisations from outside Knowsley are very welcome to join (just sign up as normal here) but we ask that you consider making a contribution towards our costs based on your size, resources and the value of the training to your organisation at the end of the day. Contact KCVS 0151 489 1222 to find out more.
Refreshments will be provided during the day as well as a sandwich lunch.
