Great improv is more than quick thinking and funny lines — it’s about bringing truthful characters and grounded performances to the stage. In this half-day workshop, you’ll explore how acting tools can elevate your improv, and how improv techniques can make you a more flexible, confident actor.

Through practical exercises in listening, character, physicality, and emotional truth, you’ll learn how to:

Topics covered by workshop

  • Build believable worlds that audiences care about
  • Create compelling, truthful characters in the moment
  • Strengthen relationships on stage so your scenes matter
  • Use physicality and voice to ground your choices
  • Play with emotional range and discover richer dynamics
  • Let go of overthinking and trust your instincts
  • Connect more deeply with scene partners and audiences
