From 1930s lonely hearts to 19th century sailors battling the elements in the Arctic, this Creative Writing workshop will introduce you to using real life stories from our archives as a starting point for your own fiction or poetry.

Historical novelist and poet Heather Richardson will guide you through techniques and writing activities, helping you to find inspiration from PRONI's treasure trove of documents and photographs.
