This two-hour session offers an introduction to Collaborative Foresight – Media Evolution’s community-based approach to futures thinking and strategic and transformative organisational development.

You will be introduced to key principles, concepts and ways of working and try out a method of rehearsing different possible futures to uncover strategic insights. The workshop is designed as an opportunity to get familiar with Collaborative Foresight, and – if you find it useful and interesting – take part in our extended course Thriving in Change – Collaborative Foresight for Cultural and Creative Organisations.

This workshop is presented in collaboration with Helsingborg Stad.


For whom?

The workshop is open to professionals and creatives in Skåne from across the cultural and creative industries, as well as those applying creative skills in other sectors. It’s suitable for individuals who are curious about futures thinking and want to explore how collaborative ways of applying foresight and futures thinking could strengthen their organisation or business.


What you will experience

  • An introduction to Collaborative Foresight
  • Explore principles and ways of working with multiple, different types of futures and perspectives.
  • A hands-on exercise of rehearsing different possible futures and drawing strategic insights for your organisation.
  • Inspiration on how Collaborative Foresight can support resilience, partnerships and creativity.
  • Insights into the extended course and how it builds on these foundations.

Workshop leader

The workshop will be led by Reeta Hafner, Foresight Lead at Media Evolution, drawing on our long experience in supporting teams and groups work with the future and change across industries and sectors.
