TSL Kirklees Network Meetings (formerly TSL Kirklees Members' Meetings) are open to staff, volunteers & trustees from any third sector, voluntary, community or social enterprise organisation in Kirklees.
They will focus on a current big issue, topic or opportunity, giving you up-to-date information, access to key decision makers & stakeholders & the chance to get involved, discuss & air your views. They're also include opportunities to connect, share & collaborate with other local groups, promote your services and activities, ask for help & get free support.
The topic for this meeting is:
Listening to Communities - showcasing the work of Kirklees Community Champions & £50k grants for responding to community issues.
- Get an overview of the Community Champions work from the Council's Public Health team
- Hear from groups who've taken part about their work & impact
- Hear from the Council's Local Democracy Team about their How Good is Our Place? work & new grants that respond to the issues that have arisen from listening to communities
- Find out about other local funding and updates
- Share your news and network with other local groups
