It is for aspiring and current entrepreneurs, as well as anyone else who wants to learn more about the business of innovation.
This event consists of 2 presentations, an interactive workshop and networking with food and drink.
It will give you an opportunity to discuss your business ideas and challenges within a supportive peer group, and learn about organisations and resources that can help.

Main speaker: Martin Coulthard from Business Navigator
artin has founded, grown and achieved successful exits from two Bristol technology businesses: Surface Inspection (automatic ceramic tile inspection systems) and Stonecube (dynamic print visualisation software). He is a previous director of BEN, and Science City Bristol, and is currently pursuing other business opportunities including the development of a portal for business information in the Bristol and Bath region called Business Navigator. He is an advocate of Lean Startup and will be introducing the concept of the Business Model Canvas - a method of presenting a company's business model on one page. Perfect for startup businesses, where overly-delatied business plans are not appropriate or possible.
