Health and Safety at work is always a major issue for all employees. Work places that have trade union health and safety reps have a significantly lower rate of accidents.
If you are a newly appointed safety rep, this is the course for you.
Who is the course for?
This is the core course for trade union health and safety representatives.
How long is the course?
This course will be delivered over 10 weeks online every Tuesday.
What will the course help me to do?
The course will help you to:
- Organise for health & safety
- Negotiate with employers to improve workplace safety
- Prevent accidents and ill health
- Apply H&S legislation
How much is the course?
There are no course fees for union reps from TUC affiliated unions.
PLEASE NOTE: This course is for residents of England only. This course will be delivered by The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London. Please be aware that funding restrictions in some areas may mean that a college cannot accept your application: if this is the case you will be notified which college to reapply to.
