About this event

Being able to present arguments clearly and confidently is a key skill for any union representative. Union representatives are encouraged to speak not only to their employer but at union meetings and conferences. This two-day course aims to help reps to develop their speech writing, speak confidently, practice public speaking, and understand the procedures in meetings and conferences.

How long is the course?

This course will be delivered over 1 week on a Friday in a classroom.

How much is the course?

There are no course fees for union reps from TUC affiliated unions.

PLEASE NOTE: This course is for residents of England only. This course will be delivered by Wirral Met. Please be aware that funding restrictions in some areas may mean that a college cannot accept your application: if this is the case you will be notified which college to reapply to.
