Event description

Description

The Tudor century had famously high profile monarchs such as Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. However, their stories were bound to the lives and deaths of an array of other vivid characters. On this evening tour of the Tudor wing of London’s National Portrait Gallery we will tease out the surprising threads between Tudor lives through their portraits. Come and meet the monarchs, merchants, martyrs, clerics, nobles and adventurers who created the revolutionary era of the Tudors.
