Create a lovely squishy cushion (approx 17" diameter by 5" high). Made up of segments with a decorative button, and stuffed with recycled stuffing (which we provide as part of the workshop cost)
You will need:
A range of cotton fabric pieces for the top - 12 in all. Each piece should be at least 10" by 6". You could alternate patterned and plain fabrics or just let your imagination run wild!
A quarter of a metre of cotton fabric for the side strips. (Width of fabric)
A fat quarter of cotton fabric for the back.
(If you want to do the side and the back in the same fabric you will need 3/4 metre in total.)
Please note that thicker / stiffer fabrics are not suitable for this cushion.
We would prefer you to bring your own machine but if this is not possible we do have machines you can hire for £5.
We also have a lovely range of fabrics to choose from at The Blue House but you are welcome to bring your own.
