This five-week programme is designed for mothers and birthing people from ethnically diverse communities with babies aged 0-12 months, offering a nurturing space to connect with others, explore well-being through music, and engage in creative, mindful activities—no musical experience needed!
Led by a member of our team and the talented Namvula—a mother, singer, and workshop facilitator—these sessions are a wonderful opportunity to experience the power of music, mindfulness, and community in early motherhood. The focus is on your wellbeing, and having a chance to talk with other mums about what it's really like being a mum today, the expectations and pressures, and how to cope.
These groups are informal, relaxed and baby-friendly (up to 12 months of age). Bookings are essential due to limited spaces (and so we know how many biscuits to bring). Come connect with other mums in a warm, welcoming space.
Our Diversity Matters project aim is to provide a voice and support for mums from diverse communities, bringing women together to talk about the complexities related to their culture, upbringing and heritage whilst balancing the challenges that come with the first year of motherhood.
