After a short summer break, Turkish Bookshelf returns this October with Selçuk Altun’s Farewell Fountain Street — join us for a new season of inspiring monthly discussions.
Each month we explore Turkish books that have been translated into English, taking readers on a journey through Türkiye’s rich literary heritage.
This October, we will delve into Farewell Fountain Street — a captivating blend of mystery, history, and literary intrigue that sweeps readers through the streets of İstanbul and beyond.
To order a book you can do so using the following links:

Our evening will commence at 6:30pm and continue until 8:30pm, and will take place on the first Friday of every month.
Although it is preferred that you have read the book, our discussions will be accessible to everyone. With the help of our skilled moderator, we aim to provide a comfortable space for you all to unwind and relax at the end of the week.
We look forward to welcoming you to Yunus Emre Enstitüsü - London for an evening of meaningful discussion.
