Join us for a delightful hands-on Turkish Coffee Class, where you'll discover the history and tradition of brewing authentic Turkish coffee and its variations (Traditional, Coquettish and Tatar Turkish Coffee) accompanied by Turkish delight tasting with different flavours. This in-person event will take place at the a cup of coffee London Workshop. Immerse yourself in the rich flavours and cultural heritage of this beloved beverage.

During the class, you will be guided through the entire process, from talking about the coffee beans used for Turkish Coffee to brewing the perfect cup. You'll learn about the unique brewing techniques of Turkish Coffee and the significance of coffee in Turkish culture. Get ready to savour the rich aroma and taste of this centuries-old tradition.

• Drink Qahwa Qishriyya, the original version of coffee, which was first consumed by Sufi Dervishes 600 years ago.
• Brief introduction
• Presentation and drinking of Traditional Turkish Coffee accompanied by Turkish Delights
• Video: ‘The History of Turkish Coffee’
• Video: ‘The Traditional Turkish Coffee’
• Learning how to brew Traditional, Coquettish and Tatar Turkish Coffee
• Hands-on cooking Turkish coffee with "cezve" (traditional coffee-making pot).
• Turkish delight tasting with each coffee variety you will be cooking.
• Learning how to prepare a traditional Turkish Coffee time

What's included

• As much Turkish Coffee as you can drink during the class
• My e-Turkish Coffee recipe book. You will receive it via email after the class.
• Turkish delights will be served during the class to complement the Turkish Coffees we make together.

All the coffee and Turkish delights are from famous brands and brought from Istanbul.

Please let us know if you have nut or food allergies before the class.

The event can be booked for private groups, ie birthdays, etc. You can bring your cake and candles. There is plenty of cutlery and plates to serve here.

We require a minimum of 2 participants to run this class and reserve the right to cancel it due to insufficient enrollment. If this occurs, you will have a full refund.

We only process refunds if notified 7 days before the class takes place. Eventbrite's fee is nonrefundable.
