Description

TURMOIL is a new play by one of the hottest Brazilian playwrights at the moment, Jô Bilac, whose work remains unknown in the UK. 

TURMOIL is a surreal tragic-comedy set in a Jane Austenesque South-American world.

TURMOIL will be performed for the first time in Europe this year at the exquisite Sala Brasil, within the Embassy of Brazil in London for 2 days only!

FREE ENTRY!  This event will be ticketed due to limitations of seats. Dende suggests a minimum donation of £10 (not mandatory) to help us take this show further in 2017.


SYNOPSIS: Once upon a time in a Jane Austenesque South-American world lust and sibling love between Vladine and Matias bring turmoil to his marriage with Bianca. To top it all, Vladine who has come to live with her brother due to the mysterious death of her husband has brought her beloved Nataniel with her. This is a blind goat, which becomes the enemy number one of Matias’s wife, the tender Bianca... or is it Branca?
