Turn off the lights: the bats are coming to dinner!
About this event
As dusk falls, bats emerge from their roosts to feed on insects. Join us on our special local bat walk, led by Stuart Fraser from the Greater Manchester Local Records Centre.
We’ll learn about our local bat populations, listen to them via bat detectors and spot them flying in a Chorlton wildlife area.
We meet in a Chorlton wildlife area, exact details give on booking.
Please note:
Under 16s to be accompanied by an adult. No dogs please.
Wear comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for the UK weather. We will be walking in a Chorlton wildlife area where ground can be uneven.
Attendance is at your own risk, and the organisers cannot take any responsibility for any mishaps. This walk will work on the basis of being a group of friends going for a walk together.
