Welcome to Turning Leaves: Weeds!

Come join us at The South London Botanical Institute on October 30, 2025 at 4:30 PM for a fun-filled event celebrating the beauty of weeds! And get to know our library and how best to use it to support what you're looking into.

Each participant will bring two plant samples from local pavements and waste ground. Roy and Elyssa will walk us through how to identify them using the field guides and botany books on our shelves. We will discuss how and when they arrived here, unpacking the hidden stories behind these often overlooked plants. See you there!

The building is not wheelchair accessible. If you have any access needs, please contact info@slbi.org.uk.

If cost is a barrier please contact info@slbi.org.uk

If this workshop is fully booked, please contact info@slbi.org.uk to be added to the waiting list.
