Join us for an Alzheimer’s Research UK public lecture and discover how scientific discoveries are being transformed into promising new treatments & biomarkers in the fight against neurodegenerative diseases.

For decades, progress in developing new biomarkers and treatments for these diseases has been frustratingly slow. However, we are now entering an exciting new era, as ground-breaking laboratory discoveries are being transformed into real-world clinical advances.

Join us at 6pm on Thursday 16 October for an inspiring and insightful evening. You’re warmly invited to stay for drinks and nibbles afterwards.

Is there parking at the event?

There is no parking directly at the event. However, if you require an accessible space please contact us directly. There is also nearby pay & display parking on Parks Road and Keble Road. Where possible we would encourage you to travel to the event via public transport.

Is the venue accessible?

The Sherrington Building has an accessibility ramp for entrance into the building, and wheelchair spaces at the front of the lecture hall. There are also accessible toilets if required. Please contact us if you have any specific requirements and we will try our best to accommodate.
