We are delighted to share details of the third instalment of TutorLab, our webinar and discussion forum for Brilliant Club tutors!

Every half term, we run online sessions where tutors can come together to learn more about a particular topic from TBC staff, participate in discussion, and share ideas with one another. The purpose of this initiative is to provide further opportunities for tutor professional development, as well as to help build a sense of community and collaboration across our national tutor network.

Each TutorLab session will look at a different theme: sessions will be designed to help you prepare and develop further in your role as a Brilliant Club tutor, as well as more widely in your teaching and research activity.

The next sessions of TutorLab are taking place on Wednesday, 10th March:

• 15:00 – 16:00: From Researcher to Teacher: Insights into Teaching in the Current Climate

In this session we will explore the current climate for teachers: both the challenges and joys of teaching during a particularly turbulent year, as well as careers in teaching more generally. We will hear first-hand from a researcher and teacher and there will be opportunities to ask questions and share lessons learnt from working with schools, with your fellow tutors.
