TV Jobs UK are holding an interactive and informative TV & Film employability masterclass combining training and talks and a Q&A with industry professionals, for those determined to make a mark within the industry. We will equip you with the know how of what you need to do find jobs and get paid work.
The masterclass will empower and equip learners with the skills in order to apply effectively to entry level roles within the industry.

Who is delivering the masterclass?
Georgina Bobb - Freelance Television Production Co-ordinator and Founder of TV Jobs UK
Training will be delivered by Georgina Bobb BA Hons in Content Creation and Broadcast, a qualified Media Trainer with a Level 3 in Education and Training (PTTLS). She is also a Freelance Television Production Coordinator with experience working on a variety of genres including entertainment, factual, fact ent, crime, childrens and food. She has worked for various broadcasters and independent production companies such as the BBC and ITV and on an array of shows such as The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent (ITV1) and The Undateables (Channel 4). Nominated for a Screen Nation Award under the 'Rising Talent' category and also featured on the BBC Victoria Live show - She is the Managing Director of TV Jobs UK an employability business providing clients with 1 to 1 career consultations, as well as CV and cover letter writing services.
Sinitta Monero - Freelance Film Production Manager and Media Trainer at TV Jobs UK
Sinitta Monero, CV writer and TV Jobs UK's own employability advisor will also be delivering training. She is also a qualified Media & employability skills Trainer (PTTLS). Sinitta currently works as a Production Manager and freelances as a 1st AD and production coordinator for film and television. She has worked for various production companies including Corbis Entertainment, AVCO and Valance Films on an array of films including Star Wars, Legend and Mr Holmes. Her portfolio of work includes short films, radio production, TV production, live events, music videos, and script writing for shorts, web dramas and adverts.

Bryan Cook - Director of Photography and Chief Operating Officer of the International Moving Image Society (IMIS)
Bryan is a London-based director of photography that keeps active working on features, documentaries, commercials, corporate projects, and short films. Bryan is also the COO for the International Moving Image Society (IMIS), where he supports their mission of educating, training, connecting, and inspiring members of the film, TV, and video game industry. He currently serves as a regular visiting lecturer at the University of Greenwich.

Perrin Hassan - Freelance Television Researcher
Perrin says 'I began my career working at the London Olympics in 2012 . From then on I have gone on to work for companies such as the BBC, Endemol and Lime Pictures. Currently as a Researcher in the television industry, I can say that it's a beautiful thing when your career and passion come together.'

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to attend the masterclass?
There are no ID requirements, however the minimum age we are accepting to the masterclass is 18 years of age.
How can I get to the venue?
Canada Water Library and Culture Space is situated directly above Canada Water station (Jubilee line and London Overground). Exit the station towards Surrey Quays Shopping Centre.

What can/can't I bring to the event?
Please bring a notebook and pen for note taking. Light refreshments will be provided such as teas and cofees and water. There is a cafe situated in the building in the foyer which is open during the workshop and for lunch.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It would be helpful for registration purposes.
