Dr Darrin M Disley, Parallel Entrepreneur
Developing a product or looking to commercialize your research? Want to build a capital efficient, non-dilutive business with early customer tractions? Do you know how to find the best alignment of interest between founders, employees, investors and customers?
From forming teams to deciding which form of capital to raise, this workshop is all about finding the right ingredients for your business so it can be successful.
For entrepreneurs embarking on a new venture, choosing the right business model is crucial to the success of a startup, forming the company’s DNA as it grows. In this workshop, parallel entrepreneur, Dr Darrin M Disley will walk current and future founders through different business models and work with them to identify the appropriate solution for their startup. At the core of Darrin’s approach is the ‘Lean Startup’ methodology, an empirical approach to finding product-market fit through early and constant testing of assumptions, pivoting the business to meet the market situation. Through minimal iteration an entrepreneur will arrive at the appropriate model which will reflect both the goals and expectations of the founders as well as providing a resilient framework to successfully exploit the economic climate and facilitate future scale.
