These classes are open to all who work on campus and who wish to explore themselves through the framework of body and breath. Each session offers a space for deep self-study through precise alignment, embodied sensing, and meditative inquiry.
Rooted in contemplative traditions that explore interdependence, deep listening, and the awareness underlying all experience, this practice invites us to drop beneath habitual notions and touch the direct reality of body, breath, and being. It is an invitation to rest in that which remains untouched by change, while studying ourselves through feeling, sensing, and becoming present to what is.
No prior yoga experience is necessary, but a willingness to engage deeply with your own experience is essential.
Pre-registration is required.
No special clothing required - just turn up in comfortable clothing with a yoga mat.
Please check this page each week before attending to check that the event is still running
Held at The Heart and Lung Research Institute next door to Royal Papworth Hospital and opposite AstraZeneca. What3words location: https://w3w.co/swift.slides.leaps - in case like me, you get lost climbing out of a paper bag!
CBC Yoga is brought to you by CBC Ltd in collaboration with the HLRI and Lilly Zafer. These face-to-face sessions are for those who work on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
