You’re invited to join our special event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the phenomenal bestseller, The Twilight Saga.
Twilight is the OG Romantasy sensation, with a cult following and legions of fans globally. To mark the 20th anniversary, Truro Waterstones is delighted to welcome fans of the books (and movies) to an exciting jam-packed evening event to pay homage to Twilight.
On the evening you can look forward to three thrilling activities:
A quiz. Test your knowledge of the books (and movies). Will you be Team Edward or Team Jacob?
A scavenger hunt. Find the symbols concealed round the store and solve a Twilight-themed riddle.
A book bedazzling competition. In honour of the Cullens', embellish a book cover with gems to 'sparkle' on your bookshelf... like your favourite vampires. Bring your own copy of Twilight or purchase one on the evening to bedazzle (attendees can enjoy 10% off Young Adult books on the evening.) Materials such as glue and gems will be supplied.Giveaways and prizes - the opportunity to WIN limited edition exclusive tote bags, t-shirts, bookmarks, stickers, pin badges, and other Twilight goodies.To celebrate Twilight in style, we will also be serving themed punches. (Type A, a ‘red blood’ cranberry punch. Type B, a ‘blue blood’ blueberry punch.) Ticket-holders are also welcome to a free hot drink in Cafe W included with their ticket.The beautiful new 20th anniversary editions will also be available to buy on the night.We suggest attendees arrive at 5:30PM to get their free drinks and get comfortable before the event officially starts at 6:00PMIf you have any questions, please email truro@waterstones.com.(This is a ticketed event. £5 per ticket.
