Firpark Ski Slalom is part of the Scottish “TWIN PEAKS” weekend. Entries are invited for the main event for registered racers in the following categories - U14, U16, U18, U21, Seniors and Masters. We will also run U12 and U10 events which will not be seeded.

Please note that:

RACERS IN THE MAIN EVENT MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THEIR HOME NATION GOVERNING BODY – FOR SCOTLAND, THIS IS SNOWSPORT SCOTLAND. RACERS IN THE U12 AND U10 CATEGORIES MUST BE MEMBERS OF AN AFFILIATED CLUB. RACERS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COMPETE WITHOUT REGISTRATION.

Firpark Ski Centre, Tillicoultry FK13 6PL

FORMAT :

The oBARTS seed list 2022.2 will be used for acceptance and on race day. Protests/errors relating to the Acceptance List will be considered at a Jury Meeting on Thursday 2nd June 2022.

ENTRIES :

The race entry fee is £30.00 which includes uplift and, if required, ski hire. This is an all inclusive race fee and no reductions are possible for use of own equipment. Entries must be made by Friday 27th May 2022 although entry may close early if the race is oversubscribed.

AGE CATEGORIES:

The age categories applicable are as follows: -

U10 – Born 2013 or 2014

U12 – Born 2011 or 2012

U14 – Born 2009 or 2010

U16 – Born 2007 or 2008

U18 – Born 2005 or 2006

U21 – Born 2002 to 2004

Sen – Born 1993 to 2001

Masters - Born 1992 or before

ACCEPTANCES :

Depending upon the number of entries the Race Jury may need to restrict acceptances. A waitlist will be available.

INSURANCE :

All racers MUST be insured for third party liability cover for competition. Membership of a registered Ski Club affiliated to Snowsport Scotland will provide this cover, proof of membership must be available on race day. Insurance will not be offered on race day

START TIME :

Provisional race start time is 10:30 with course inspection between 10:00 and 10:30. Bibs will be available for collection between 08:30 and 09:00. The slope is available to warm up between 09:00 and 09:45.

PARKING:

Parking is available in the large school car park behind the primary school or the surrounding streets. Please do not park in the small car park at the main entrance to the primary school, this is reserved for emergency vehicles.
