Twitter for Business - Getting it Right
Monday, July 11, 2011 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (BST)
London, United Kingdom
Twitter for Business - What is it about?
You may already be on Twitter or you may be thinking about it. Whichever applies to you, going back to basics allows you to learn and apply the best techniques to grow your audience and your business online. I'll also show you some common mistakes and how to avoid them!
We will explore the purpose of Twitter and where it fits not only within social media but also within a wider marketing strategy. We will be looking at Facebook, LinkedIn and other sites, how they interlink and what drives traffic.
We will also be looking at how to turn followers into advocates for your business and how to turn around negativity online.
You will learn:
- How to multiply your audience
- How to find new customers
- How to engage disgruntled customers
- Why you should never try to sell on Twitter and...
- ...how to turn tweets into sales!
In addition, we will look at the importance of personal branding in the David and Goliath battle against household names.
This seminar is designed for a small number of participants to ensure that you get the opportunity to ask questions, try things and take a look at the tech in action. You are strongly advised to bring your laptop, netbook, iPhone or other gadgets to make sure that you can get the most out of the session.
Twitter Basics for Business - Who is it for?
This seminar is ideally suited to small and medium business owners and professionals. You will have a keen interest in engaging with your current customers and finding new potential customers. Please note - this course does qualify for accredited CPD (Social:haus is authorised to provide accredited CPD training to solicitors by the SRA).
In addition, this course may be of interest to other organisations who wish to break down barriers to engagement - including cause campaigns.
You may already know the basics of how to use Twitter and related social media services.
