Event description

Description

For a researcher in international development, Twitter can be a powerful tool to connect and build partnerships with academics, NGOs, policy-makers and think-tanks globally, disseminate your research, develop pathways to impact and stay up to date with the latest in development research. But running an active Twitter account takes a lot of work, time and effort. So, how can we make the most of Twitter to benefit our research without losing too much valuable research time?

At this workshop, Ned Potter from the university’s library will be providing researchers with tools, tips and tricks to use Twitter more effectively and efficiently. We will also cover how being part of both the university’s and IGDC’s Twitter community can help to boost your Twittering skills and increase meaningful engagement with your followers.
