The world of data and digital is here and we are using it more and more.

But many of us do not know where to start our Digital Finance Journey, feel under skilled and frustrated with the growing gap between team productivity and tech opportunity!

Digital CFO Labs will change this.

At this two day learning experience, we will bring our expertise and our real life experience together with our learning network in accounting and finance.

We will turn the fear of the unknown, into the joy of learning something new, the fun of innovating and the real world benefit of Digital Finance capability.

Nothing is assumed, and we acknowledge that many are moving from zero to one, despite the marketing hype.

We take you on a non technical people focused business journey required to make digital change;

Time to make a difference!

Who is it for?

Digital Finance Labs are for finance and accounting leaders and teams who wish to learn more about digital finance transformation, know how to build a digital finance asset within their organisations, how to align to future opportunities in Digital Finance, as a Digital Finance consultant, or a Digital CFO.

We believe in a top-down approach aligned to business needs, then going on a journey to understand the relevant data and digital ecosystem that supports those needs.

CFOs and finance leaders who want to build out a clear strategy for change, and managers and team members who wish to deliver that strategy. This is not tools training but a leadership approach to understand business problems and fixing them with a data and digital finance asset.

The world of accounting and finance is changing.

It’s easy to read reports on robotic, artificial intelligence and data science and think that the entire accounting world is living in an automation paradise. Meanwhile, the new coffee machine is the most successful example of digital transformation in your office.

The reality is that most accounting and finance departments are far less along the road to automation and analytics than the hype suggests.

Most people feel they need more skills and resources to crack digital. Most people feel they are fighting with their incumbent system and processes. Most accounting and finance departments are still critically dependent on Excel spreadsheets which ties them to a low value, easy to learn skill set. But the world has changed and we need to “get digital”.

The issue isn’t with technology, according to McKinsey research, most data and digital projects fail because of people challenges - culture, change and skills.

The programme we are building addresses this challenge.
