To communicate with their audiences, organisations and individuals are realising that video is essential in getting their message across. The problem in the past has been it's taken too much time and has cost too much money.

Not anymore…

Former ITV and BBC reporter Anna Brees will teach you how to film and edit broadcast standard video in this two day intensive workshop using your mobile phone.

Looking at short-form square and portrait video for the newsfeed, and long-form landscape video for websites and video channels like YouTube and Vimeo.

80% of all video watched on a device is with the sound OFF. Anna teaches the importance of the headline, top shot and story. These are now crucial elements of all video viewed via a tablet or mobile device.

Over the two days you will learn how to produce 5 video vehicles and chose the most suitable ones for your organisation or business.

Anna will take you through the traditional television models such as the news package, interview soundbite, vox pop and live interview - with the focus on helping attendees choose the best video vehicle for their message.

She believes great content, and story telling via well crafted video will get organic share and your message out to the people who you want to hear it.

You will learn how to film and edit add subtitles, music, sound effects, graphics, music and voiceover to video.
